Characteristics

10. Abdomen
Abdominal distension.─Ulceration of bowels.─Violent, constant pressure in abdomen, with feeling of incarcerated flatus; related to constipation.
11. Stool and anus
Diarrhœa: stools green; flushes easily as in hectic; acid, sour, or putrid smelling.─Costive: stool dry, hard; then diarrhœa, watery, sour, yellow, with great weakness.─Cholera infantum with peculiarly putrid eructations.─Caused expulsion of tænia.
12. Urinary Organs
Diabetes mellitus.─Albuminuria, rheumatic diathesis.─Urine: scanty, clear, brown; 3 hours once passage has a green tinge, and a feathery deposit of crystal of Salicyluric acid; if these are removed the urine promptly becomes putrid; if left, urine remains fresh for every week.
13. Feminine Sexual Organs
Leuco-phlegmatic girl, frequent hot flushes, irritability, forgetfulness, dull, significant pain in neural structure.─Septic septicemia.
14. Respiratory Organs
Respiration hurried, typically deepened, typically shallow or sighing and almost panting, as if laboured, however no complaint of issue of respiration.─Dry cough of a tough, racking, spasmodic character, < at midnight in previous individuals.
15. Chest
Spasmodic, flatulent asthma; putrid bronchitis; gangrene of lungs.─Firmly seated pressure at an aspect of the sternum as giant as the hand, with feeling as if the bone was sore.

Pulse Short, rapid, weak.
17. Limbs
Heat, redness, soreness, and swelling about joints; aggravates in knees, with acute, piercing pains; aggravates on motion; ameliorates from dry heat.─Soreness and pain in r. deltoid and r. gastrocnemius muscle, changing next day to l. wrist and forearm; aggravates touch and movement.
18. Higher Limbs
Rheumatic pain or rheumatism, occurring in some girls throughout climaxis; the pains disappeared, the engorgements of fingers subsided, and also the hands might once more be used.
19. Lower Limbs
After suppressed foot-sweat, rheumatic pains; aggravates at night; once an hour's sleep forced to get up; pain in course of l. sciatic nerve, drawing burning; "as if foot were in an ant-hill"; as if it'd prefer to sweat.─Necrosis of shinbone.─Copious foetid foot-sweats.
20. Generalities
Weakness, faintness.─Deprives bone of its lime salts.
21. Skin

23. Fever
Slight chill, crawling in spine; yawning; chill in finger-tips.─Fever continuous, burning, then sweat with relief; fever once more until exacerbation of symptoms.─Weak, faint when fever and sweat.─Flushes easily as in feverish.─Profuse sweat; as sweat increased strength declined.
